Man Charged with Voyeurism in Rideau Lakes

Rideau Lakes – An investigation into the discovery of sexually explicit images at a home in the Newboro area has resulted in an arrest.

Members of the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. An individual had located a storage device with a large number of images of multiple women.

Following the initial investigation, a 35-year-old male has been charged with voyeurism.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on March 27, 2026.

The name of the accused is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.

The investigation is continuing, with an effort being made to identify additional victims.
