Brockville Won 5-3 Over Cornwall in on Family Day in CCHL

Cornwall – The Brockville Braves secured a 5-3 victory over the Cornwall Colts at the Ed Lumley Arena on Family Day.

Cornwall struck first on a power-play goal from Rockwell, but Brockville quickly answered with McNally’s marker. Carolan added two goals, including a short-handed tally, while Sled and McNally each contributed, giving Brockville a decisive edge.

Cornwall’s Walker and Lamb responded with second-period and power-play goals, keeping the contest close.

Brockville’s Caley made 27 saves on 30 shots, while Cornwall’s Poitras stopped 30 of 35. Brockville’s balanced attack proved too much as they claimed the road win.

The Braves will host the Hawkesbury Hawks this Friday night at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
