Westport – The Westport Rideaus won a 3-1 decision over the Cumberland Castors on Saturday in NCJHL action in Westport.
Connor Jackson (Chad Carroll) got the Rideaus on the board first with a goal in the first period.
There was no scoring in the second period. In the third, Liam Kirby would score the only goal of the game for Cumberland.
Chad Carroll (Cohen Campbell, Gavin Merkley) and Braden Belot (Lane Morency, Tyson Verch) would score one goal each in the third to take the win at 3-1.
The Rideaus will face Cumberland one again tonight, Sunday in Cumberland. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
