The Palliative Care Telethon Continues to Support Local Families, Raising Over $200,000 on Saturday

Brockville – The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation was proud to continue the Palliative Care Telethon on our local radio stations MyFM 104.9, GIANT 103.7 and in Gananoque on MyFM 99.9 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 21. This beloved community event once again carried forward a legacy of generosity and community spirit, raising over $200,000 in support of Palliative Care Outreach Services in our community!

“Each year, this Telethon reminds us what makes our community so extraordinary,” said Trish, Executive Director of the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation. “The compassion shown by donors, sponsors, volunteers and listeners ensure that patients and families facing some of life’s most difficult moments receive care, comfort and dignity close to home. We are deeply grateful.”

The day concluded with a celebratory sing-a-long of Sweet Caroline led by Mark Bergman.

A New Chapter in Supporting Compassionate Care

The Palliative Care Telethon will continue its vital mission of raising funds to provide compassionate end-of-life care to families in our community. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, individuals, and supporters, the funds raised during the telethon will go directly to Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Outreach Program, ensuring that every dollar stays within our community.
