Brockville – The Board of Directors of Leeds and Grenville Interval House is thrilled to announce that Katie Sparkes has been appointed our new Executive Director, effective March 16, 2026.
Katie brings over 18 years of leadership in the violence‑against‑women sector, including nearly two decades at Nipissing Transition House and her current role as Operations Manager at LGIH. She is a steady, trauma‑informed leader with deep expertise in shelter operations, crisis response, labour‑management collaboration, and Ministry‑funded program oversight. We are delighted to welcome her into this role.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to Melissa Leveck, whose leadership over the past three years has strengthened our organization and supported our mission with vision and dedication.
We are grateful for Melissa’s service and excited for the future under Katie’s leadership.
