Kemptville 73s Win Quarter-Final Series 4-1 Over Navan Grads

Kemptville – The Kemptville 73s have advanced to the CCHL Semi-Finals after beating the Navan Grads on Friday night, 3-2 after two overtimes, to win the best of five series four games to one at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

Voisey opened the scoring on the power play in the first, and Venance extended the lead in the second before Johnson got Navan on the board late in the frame.

Lindsay tied the game early in the third, sending it to overtime. After a scoreless first extra period, Henderson netted the winner late in double overtime.

Kemptville outshot Navan 53–29, with Flemming making 50 saves, while Donovan stopped 27 in the win.

The 73s will now face the Rockland Nationals in the CCHL semi-final series one. No date yet from the CCHL for the first game.
