Brockville – In the afternoon of April 9, 2026, at a residence on Centre Street in Prescott, the Brockville Police Service executed a Section 11 search warrant pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. This was part of a lengthy investigation into the trafficking of Schedule I substances, more specifically, methamphetamine and cocaine.
Officers from the Brockville Police Service executed the warrant and arrested a 30-year-old female and a 36-year-old male, without incident. During the search, police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, Canadian currency, cellular phones, and additional evidence consistent with drug trafficking. At the time of her arrest, the female subject was serving a Conditional Sentence Order for two prior convictions related to trafficking Schedule I substances.
The 30-year-old female was charged with two counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking and held in custody in relation to failing to comply with the Conditional Sentence Order. The 36-year-old male was charged with one count of possession for the purposes of trafficking and released with a future court date.
The Brockville Police Service remains committed to disrupting the trafficking of illicit drugs and holding those involved in the drug trade accountable. These enforcement efforts are part of Brockville Police Service’s ongoing work to enhance community safety and reduce the harms associated with illegal drug activity.
