Brockville – A Special Weather Statement continues for our region today as significant rainfall continues continuing into this afternoon.
The frozen or nearly saturated ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm.
After a break in the precipitation later today, another round of heavy rain may affect the region Tuesday.
Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or post reports on X using #ONStorm.
