
Perth – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Brockville resident with sexual offences.
Officers began an investigation on Thursday April 2,2026, regarding historical allegations of sexual offences beginning in 2019 while the male lived in Perth, involving a child. The male was arrested on Monday April 13, 2026.
As the result the investigation a 35-year-old Brockville man was arrested and charged with:
- Voyeurism
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years old
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Makes, prints, publishes or possesses for the purpose of publication of any child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault
The male was held in custody for a bail hearing and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 17, 2026.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
