
Brockville – On April 28, 2026, at approximately 2:00pm, the Brockville Police Service received a 911 call regarding a 26yearold male resident at the Supportive Cabins located on County Road 2 East who was reportedly making threats toward others.
Information provided to police indicated that staff were present at the individual’s cabin repairing a window that had previously been damaged. While staff were on site, the individual, who was attempting to sleep at the time, became agitated and began searching for a knife while making threats toward staff. Police were contacted, and the individual left the property prior to officers arriving.
Officers conducted an area search and located the individual walking eastbound on County Road 2. He was taken into custody. At the time of his arrest, the individual began experiencing medical distress by way of seizures, and was transported to Brockville General Hospital by paramedics for assessment and treatment.
After being medically cleared, the individual was held in custody for a bail hearing and charged with uttering threats to cause harm or death.
