Suspect Arrested After Fleeing on Foot in Relation to Break and Enter Charges

Brockville – On May 9, 2026, at approximately 2:30pm, officers were on patrol in the area of Front Avenue, when they observed a 39-year-old, male who was wanted for break and enter and failing to comply with probation.

The original break and enter had taken place at a residence on George Street, after being reported to police on April 22, 2026.

Once the subject noticed police, he fled on foot. Officers followed the subject northbound through properties to the area of 12 Central Avenue. While there, the subject was located in the basement of one of the residences at that location.

The subject was held for a bail hearing for the offences of break and enter and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
