
Brockville – Due to the recent resignation of Trustee Todd Robertson, there is now a vacancy for the position of Trustee in the areas of Drummond-North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, Montague, Perth and Tay Valley for the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB).
In accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Board of Trustees will receive applications from eligible individuals for this position until 4:00 p.m. on May 26, 2026.

When applying, please provide the following information:
a) a resumé or summary, including past accomplishments and community involvement, and related experience;
b) a letter of intent outlining the reasons why you wish to serve on the Board and how you feel you can contribute to its overall effectiveness. The applications will be available for review by the public, if requested; and
c) three references from the community.
Applicants will be screened, and a committee will select a candidate for recommendation of appointment to the Board.
The successful applicant will sign the applicable documentation (including oath) with the Secretary of the Board after the Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Public Board Meeting and will serve until the end of the current term, which is November 14, 2026.
