Cardinal – The first completed project funded in part through our Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is helping improve accessibility at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 105 in Cardinal.
Through our Accessibility and Safety Renovation Grant, the Legion received a $5,000 reimbursement to support over $19,000 in improvements, replacing uneven flooring transitions throughout the well-used community space.

Last year, we worked with community groups across Edwardsburgh Cardinal to create a more accessible and inclusive Community Improvement Plan. It feels fitting that one of the first completed projects supported through the program is helping improve accessibility in a space used by so many in our community.
If you are planning improvements to your property or community space, learn more about available programs and funding opportunities at www.TWPEC.ca/CIP
