Brockville – The 24th Annual Brockville Ribfest returns August 7–9, marking a major milestone for one of the region’s most beloved summer traditions and introducing a new chapter of community impact as the event proudly supports the local Boys and Girls Club (BGC South East) for the first time.

For nearly a quarter century, Brockville Ribfest has brought thousands of community members together along the waterfront for a weekend of award-winning barbecue, live entertainment, and family fun. This year builds on that legacy while strengthening its commitment to local youth, with proceeds now supporting prevention-based programs and critical child and youth programs delivered by BGC South East.

This year’s event will feature six professional ribbers, a wide variety of food vendors and local food trucks, and live entertainment all weekend long.

A full lineup of family-friendly attractions returns, including a large KidsZone, the Hyundai Volleyball Tournament, Cops and Kids Fishing Derby, Rock School, Ribfest Idol, Arm Wrestling Tournament, inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and more.

Visitors can also explore a bustling Vendor Village featuring over 40 local vendors, artisans, and small businesses, as well as enjoy the beverage garden and a full festival atmosphere designed to bring the community together.

“Brockville Ribfest has always been about celebrating community, tradition, and summer in our region,” says Bev Heuving, Director of Programs & Evaluation at BGC South East. “This year, we are especially proud to have the event support BGC South East and the new programs in STEM and mentorship they are bringing to children and youth in Leeds & Grenville.”

The addition of BGC South East as the event’s charitable partner reinforces the festival’s broader purpose, ensuring local youth continue to have access to opportunities that support growth, connection, and wellbeing. Proceeds will help fund programs such as STEM and Robotics, mentoring, after-school programs, and other essential youth supports.

The continued success of Brockville Ribfest is made possible through strong collaboration and support from volunteers, attendees, sponsors, municipal partners, and local businesses. BGC South East extends appreciation to the City of Brockville, Experience Ontario, and community partners including The Butcher Shop, Brockville Hyundai, Kriska, Giant Tiger, and Sleeman Breweries.

“Community support is what makes this event possible year after year. Together, we’re not only continuing a 24-year tradition — we’re also helping build stronger futures for local youth,” Heuving adds
