Brockville – As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.
➡ A new program at Brockville General is helping patients continue their recovery at home, thanks to a close partnership between Brockville General and SE Health. Launched in March, Brockville@Home is designed to help people regain independence after a hospital stay, while staying in the place they’re the most comfortable: their own home.
➡ On Wednesday, our Occupational Health team is hosting our annual Wellness Fair. The fair brings over 35+ health and wellness vendors to our hospital to showcase services and supports available in our community.
➡ Our Brockville & District Hospital Foundation held another successful Ride the River on May 31. Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, riders, walkers and those who sponsored or donated. We are truly thankful for your generous support of our hospital.
➡ June 10 is Action Anxiety Day. Anxiety can feel overwhelming, but taking even the smallest step can make a big difference. Let’s continue to break the stigma around anxiety by showing compassion to ourselves and each other.
Julie’s Community Updates are posted weekly on Mondays.
