
Brockville – The Brockville & Area Sports Hall of Fame hosted its 32nd annual awards dinner on Thursday and induction ceremony on Friday at the Brockville Legion.
The 2026 Brockville Kinsmen Sports Awards Dinner was held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Brockville Legion.

The awards were for Coach of the Year, Sports Person of the Year, Sports Team of the Year, along with the Volunteering Award, Outstanding Sponsorship Award and a first time special award, the Longtime Coaching Contribution Award.
Jennifer Roney was awarded the Brockville Hyundai Coaching Award, the Photovisions Volunteering Award went to Danny Powers, and the Outstanding Sponsorship Award was awarded to Luna Pizzeria.
A new special award, the Longtime Coaching Contribution Award was awarded to the Geraghty family.
This year’s Canarm Sports Team of the Year was the Johnstown Jewels Under 15 Softball Team who in the summer of 2025 played three tournaments coming home with a silver medal, gold medal and a bronze medal. They also won six straight games at the Provincial Championships to win the gold medal.
This year’s Amstead Design Build Sports Person of the Year was Victoria Ford, the captain of the TISS Pirates Girls Basketball Team as it finished second at the All-Ontario Championships. In track & field, Victoria broke the 400-metre hurdles record at TISS and in Leeds & Grenville and is ranked 6th in the province.
As well, the five new inductees into the sports hall of fame had a chance to speak, Scott Birnie, Teri Deluis, Bob Olsen, Steve & Ann-Marie Polite and Jeff Seed.
On Friday those five inductees were officially inducted in to the Brockville & Area Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Brockville Legion.
Many returning hall of famers were in attendance for both the dinner and induction ceremony.
