Forthton – Following post-race technical inspection at Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturday, July 4, voltage readings were conducted on competitors in three racing divisions in accordance with the DirtCar Rule Book.
Of the drivers tested, two competitors were found to be in violation of the applicable DirtCar voltage regulation. Both infractions occurred in the DirtCar Sportsman division and involved Domonick Merkley and Gavin Eisele.
In accordance with the DirtCar rules, both drivers were disqualified from their feature finishing positions and were reclassified to the rear of the official results. As a result, each driver forfeits all feature points and prize money for the event.
