Brockville – Work continues on the rehabilitation of Centennial Road from Windsor Drive to California Avenue.
Residents and motorists should be aware of the following upcoming construction activities:
Tuesday, July 21 – Various roadwork activities will take place to prepare the roadway for final paving. Motorists should expect traffic disruptions and delays throughout the day.
Wednesday, July 22 & Thursday, July 23 – Asphalt paving is scheduled to take place. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and allow additional travel time if using Centennial Road.

Tackaberry & Sons Construction Co. has been contracted by the City of Brockville’s Engineering Division to carry out the roadway rehabilitation of Centennial Road from Windsor Drive to California Avenue.
This project includes Cold in Place recycling of the existing asphalt road base as well as a new surface layer of asphalt.
While preliminary work for this project has already begun the bulk of the work is set to begin on June 29th, 2026. This project is anticipated to be complete by the end of July.
During this time one lane will remain open, and a pilot vehicle will be used to keep traffic flowing in both directions on Centennial Road.
