Brockville – Effective immediately, St. Lawrence Park Beach is closed following recent water testing conducted by the Southeast Public Health Unit.
Testing has identified elevated levels of bacteria in the water. As a result, a swimming advisory has been issued and the beach is closed to swimming until further notice.
The City will continue to monitor testing results and will provide an update once the beach is deemed safe for swimming and the advisory has been lifted.
You can review beach closures on the Southeast Public Health Unit website.
We appreciate the public’s cooperation and understanding.
