Brockville Road Rehabilitation Program Beginning on Various City Streets Today

Brockville – The City of Brockville will begin its annual road rehabilitation program on various streets throughout the city today, Monday, August 10 with an anticipated completion date of September 18.

Work will involve removing the top 40 mm (1½ inches) of asphalt using a cold milling process and replacing it with new hot mix asphalt in the weeks that follow. Construction will be completed by G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Co. Ltd.

Construction activities will be supervised by the City of Brockville’s Engineering Division.

What Residents Can Expect:

Residents and motorists should anticipate temporary traffic impacts, including lane restrictions, delays, noise, and construction equipment in work areas while rehabilitation is underway.

Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access where possible throughout the project.

The City will provide updates on construction schedules, affected streets, and traffic impacts as work progresses.

Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as these roadway improvements are completed.
