Brockville – Nominations have officially closed for the municipal election for the City of Brockville as of 2:00pm today, Friday, August 21, 2026.

The City Clerk will certify nominations on or before 4:00 p.m. on August 24, 2026.

Unofficial List of Candidates as of Friday, August 21, 2026 at 8:00am:

One candidate for city councilor, Cody Nolan who registered on August 19th, has withdrawn as a candidate.

Eligible voters will elect several different positions including:

• Mayor;
• Eight (8) Councillors (elected at large); and
• School Board Trustees (elected at large) for each of the four (4) school boards

The Municipal and School Board Elections will be held on October 26, 2026.
