Brockville – The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the recipient of the 2026 Young Professional of the Year Award to Sheena Earl at the 67th Awards of Excellence Gala.
Sheena is the definition of an unsung hero. For more than 15 years, she has been actively supporting our community without seeking recognition or praise through a variety of municipal government roles. Her calm and confident leadership encourages others to stand straighter, smile more, and give back. While raising two children and being a loving wife to her husband, Corey, Sheena continues to pursue higher education, allowing her to make an even greater impact through her leadership and service.
Sheena holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science with Research Specialization from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Master of Public Administration through the University of Western Ontario’s Local Government Program, an Executive Diploma in Municipal Management, and a Diploma of Municipal Administration through AMCTO.
Beyond her career, Sheena is passionate about supporting the municipal profession through education and mentorship. She volunteers as an Accredited Municipal Professional Accreditation Reviewer, Municipal Law Program Marker, Mentor, Education Coordinator and Director for AMCTO Zone 6, and has served as a keynote speaker at the Municipal Clerk’s Forum. She also volunteers with the Miles for Moms Organizing Committee with QueenCare.
Together with her husband, Corey, Sheena owns and manages multi-residential properties in Brockville, providing housing options for individuals in transition and long-term tenants. The couple has also developed businesses that provide entertainment and enrichment opportunities for people of all ages.
Her commitment to the community also includes volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters Leeds Grenville, the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, Brockville and Area Community Living Association, Food for All Food Bank, and establishing a free after-school dance program for elementary school-aged children.
The depth of education and progressive leadership Sheena has pursued at a young age has given her the steady leadership skills that strengthen her community and inspire others to give back. Sheena’s leadership, generosity, and commitment to public service make her an outstanding recipient of the 2026 Young Professional of the Year Award.
We look forward to celebrating Young Professional of the Year, Sheena Earl, on September 17th at the 67th Awards of Excellence Gala hosted at the Brockville Country Club, where we will also be announcing the recipients for: Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Community Excellence Award, the Tourism Award, and the Ben TeKamp Award.
