VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Braves Won 6-2 Over Ottawa on Saturday in CCHL

Brockville – The Brockville Braves scored twice in each period to defeat the Ottawa Jr. Senators 6-2 in CCHL action on Saturday night at the Brockville Memorial Centre.

Brockville established control early, with Colson opening the scoring at 5:23 before McManus doubled the lead at 8:40. Ottawa responded early in the second, as Brady converted on the power play at 1:39.

Regan restored Brockville’s two-goal advantage before St-Pierre brought Ottawa back within one at 12:17. The Braves answered again, with Baljak scoring at 17:10 to make it 4-2 after 40 minutes.

Brockville put the game away in the third period. Fergusson scored at 5:57 before Regan completed his hattrick at 11:35 to cap the scoring.

Hedman earned his second win of the season, stopping 19 of 21 shots. Ottawa’s Clegg made 21 saves on 27 shots in the loss.

The Braves will host the Nepean Raiders this Friday night at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
