Prescott’s PorchFest Taking Place This Saturday, September 26th

Prescott – This Saturday, September 26, front porches across Prescott become stages for an afternoon of live music, neighbourhood wandering and discovering a little more of the town along the way with Prescott PorchFest.

From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, one afternoon, ten porches, ten artists.

Presented in partnership with South Grenville Events, with the support of Durant Consulting, Prescott PorchFest brings 10 artists to 10 porch locations throughout the community from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, followed by more live music at the Town Hall “Porch.”

Build your own route, catch a favourite performer or discover someone new. Between sets, wander downtown, grab a bite, browse the shops or make your way toward the waterfront before following the music to your next stop.

South Grenville Events will be serving a BBQ chicken dinner at Town Hall from 4:00 to 7:00 PM for $24 plus tax, featuring half chicken, coleslaw, potato salad and a bun.

Bring a lawn chair, save the map and spend the afternoon following the music through Prescott.

In the event of rain, PorchFest will be held indoors at Town Hall.
