Brockville – The 22nd Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Run & Ride to Remember began this morning, Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at the Ontario Police Memorial in Queen’s Park, Toronto.
Over 200 runners representing police services across Canada have embarked on a powerful three-day, 460km journey to Ottawa, honouring the brave men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. The memorial run is a lead up to the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony being held on Parliament Hill this Sunday.

They will make their annual stop in Brockville on Day 2 of the ride, this Friday with the cycling riders coming through town at around 4:30pm. The group travels along King St. W., North past the Courthouse and continues through town on Stewart Blvd.
They will be followed by the runners arriving at Courthouse Green some time between 5:00 and 5:30pm. There will be a brief ceremony at Courthouse Green when the runners arrive.
Members of SOLE – Survivors of Law Enforcement – will join along the route, remembering and celebrating their loved ones.
