Ottawa – The never say die Brockville Tikis once again overcame a huge deficit (4 – 1) and left Ottawa West with 2 points on Thursday night in EOJHL action in Ottawa.
Three wins in four games for the Tikis.

Three (3) third period goals (Colpitts, Doris & Mulvihill) got the Tikis back into the game and forced overtime. The extra 5 minutes of 3 on 3 proved nothing and it was onto a shootout.
Heading into the dreaded shootout, Coach Storr must have had more than a modicum of confidence in his 16 year old goaltender, Griff Fitzpatrick. It was his first regular season game with the Tikis but he was no stranger to shootouts.
Fitzptrick was between the pipes for the Braves in a preseason game against Cornwall. Griff faced 18 shooters in that shootout ordeal (36 total shooters) and went on to get the win. He only faced 3 last night but all in very critical scenarios.
Bradley Colpitts (must have accepted my apology after the video gaff yesterday) continued his scoring pace with a pair. Cameron Kelly notched the shootout winner.
The Tikis will host the Arnprior Packers this Wednesday night starting at 7:45pm at the Memorial Centre.
