Brockville – On October 2, 2026, at approximately 3:00pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on Front Avenue that resulted in the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of suspected drugs believed to be intended for the purpose of trafficking.
The vehicle was initially observed in the area of Wall Street before travelling northbound on William Street and eastbound onto Front Avenue, where officers were able to safely conduct the stop.
Officers identified four occupants inside the vehicle: two 40-year-old males, a 27-year-old female, and a 59-year-old female. One of the 40-year-old males was the driver of the vehicle.
Both males were bound by court-ordered conditions prohibiting communication with one another.
During the investigation, officers observed open alcohol and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. As a result of the bail violations and items observed in plain view, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
The search led to the seizure of suspected fentanyl, oxycodone, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, and morphine, along with Canadian currency, a digital scale, and packaging materials commonly associated with drug trafficking.
All four occupants were arrested. During the investigation, the 27-year-old female provided officers with a false identity in an attempt to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant held by another police service.
