
Brockville – On June 7, 2025, at about 8:45 pm, police received a 911 hang-up call, where no information was received. Police attended a residence on Manor Drive, where it was believed the owner of the phone was located.
Investigation revealed that the rear door to the residence was found open. Officers then made contact with a 54-year-old man. It was then learned that the male subject was in a dispute with his female partner, and that was the reason for the 911 call.
The dispute resulted in the male subject shoving the female, causing her to fall backwards and strike her head on a table. The victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result, the 54-year-old man was arrested for assault. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
