Spencerville – The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal recently recognized Joe’s Spencerville Brewing Company with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Spencerville.
Mayor Tory Deschamps, Councillor Waddy Smail, and Township staff toured the new brewery and marked the occasion with an official ribbon cutting and scroll presentation to Joe Moulton and Melanie Williams, congratulating them on the new business.
Mayor Deschamps spoke about the important role Joe’s businesses play in the Spencerville community and how the brewery builds on the success of his existing local ventures. He expressed confidence in the future of the business and congratulated those involved on a strong start.
Located on the site of a former funeral home, Joe’s Spencerville Brewing Company is a locally owned brewery focused on brewing beer on site. The project involved a number of local vendors during construction, with equipment installed to support future growth.
The brewery’s first beers, Cream-a-torium and Post Mortem Pilsner, have been introduced locally through SpencerCity Bar and Grill.
The Township congratulates Joe and Mel on this new venture and welcomes Joe’s Spencerville Brewing Company to the community.
