Braves Lost 6-2 to Bears in Game 3 of Their Quarter-Final Series

Smiths Falls – The Smiths Falls Bears rode a dominant second period to a 6–2 victory over the Brockville Braves Tuesday night at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre.

After first-period goals from Brockville’s Trenholm and Smiths Falls’ Heins, the Bears took over in the middle frame with strikes from Riopel, Carvalho, Blais, and Parker.

Buller replied late for Brockville, but Smiths Falls stayed in control. Parker added another in the third to cap the scoring.

The Bears outshot the Braves 40–22. With the win, the Bears take a 3-0 series lead over the Braves.

Smiths Falls leads the series 3-0.

Game 4 is back in Brockville Thursday night at the Centennial Youth Arena starting at 7:30 pm.
