Brockville General Hospital’s Julie Caffin, President and CEO’s April 27, 2026 Update

Brockville – As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

April 28 is National Day of Mourning. We remember workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job. We commit to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies. In recognition, our flags will be lowered to half-mast on Tuesday.

As part of Be A Donor month, Bob Cheeseman, local organ donor recipient, has been volunteering his time to share his organ donation story with those visiting our Be A Donor information table. You can read Bob’s full story on our website.

This week is Patient Experience Week. This annual event celebrates healthcare staff who make an impact to improve the patient experience. As part of our work to continually improve our patients’ and families’ hospital experience, we’re looking for patients or family members of patients who have had recent experience at our hospital to volunteer as a Patient and Family Advisor.
