Brockville – The Brockville and Area Food Bank is in urgent need of non‑perishable food donations, and our community is stepping up.
Food Bank General Manager Amanda Petch and Youth Opportunities in the Arts (YOA) Board Member Chris Coyea have announced an exciting partnership with Cogeco YourTV to present a special fundraising concert.
A Spring Fling with the BHL Big Band will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at The Arts Hub Brockville, 32 Park Street.
The doors open at 6:00 pm with the band starting at 7:00 pm.
Come enjoy an evening of unforgettable music — from the timeless sounds of yesterday to the vibrant rhythms of today — performed by the incredible BHL Big Band.
The BHL Big Band was formed in 2025, its name being derived from 3 local musicians (Bruce Alexander, Howard Alexander and Lance Besharah) who were all a huge part of Brockville’s Musical Community. The 18 piece band specializes in jazz and swing music and is co-directed by Chris Coyea and Judy Quick.
Instead of tickets, guests are asked to bring non‑perishable food items, or a monetary donation in support of the Food Bank.
Refreshments will be available for purchase during intermission and a surprise draw will take place — and you must be there to win.
Join us for a night of music, community spirit, and generosity as we support families across Brockville and the area.
