Special Weather Statement: Strong Gust Expected to Continue this Afternoon for Kemptville, Merrickville, Charleston Lake & Westport

Brockville – A Special Weather Statement has been issued by Environment Canada for Kemptville, Merrickville-Wolford, Charleston Lake, Westport, Smiths Falls and Eastern Lanark.

Strong gust are expected to continue this afternoon, easing this evening. Wind gusts up to 80 km/h possible.

A passing cold front is currently bringing strong wind gusts to the area. The winds are expected to ease this evening.
