
Brockville – The Brockville Braves are pleased to announce a new chapter in the storied history of the organization, as ownership of the club transitions from Hani Greiss and Gratiela Dima to Kris Hodgins.
On behalf of the entire Braves organization, the new ownership group would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Hani Greiss and Gratiela Dima for their dedication, commitment, and contributions to the team and the Brockville hockey community. Their passion for the organization has helped maintain the Braves’ proud tradition and strong presence within the community.
Kris Hodgins brings a lifelong passion for hockey and extensive experience within the league to his new role as owner of the Brockville Braves. A former player in the league, Hodgins spent three and a half seasons competing with the Kanata Lazers, Smiths Falls Bears, and Nepean Raiders before continuing his hockey career at the collegiate level.
“Hockey has been a huge part of my life, and this league played a significant role in my development both as a player and as a person,” said Hodgins. “It is an honor to become the owner of such a respected organization. The Brockville Braves have a rich history, tremendous support from the community, and a tradition of excellence that I look forward to building upon.”
The new ownership group is committed to maintaining the Braves’ winning culture, supporting player development, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring the organization continues to be a source of pride for Brockville and its fans.
