
Brockville – The Thousand Islands Regatta will take place from this weekend from June 26 to June 28, 2026, with activities centred in the downtown and waterfront areas of Brockville.
Residents and visitors should be aware of increased traffic, pedestrian activity, and temporary road and parking closures beginning June 24 to support event setup and operations.
The following road closures will be in effect:
Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 a.m. to Monday, June 29 at 12:00 p.m.
- Blockhouse Island Parkway
- Ferry Street (closed for festival campers)
Thursday, June 25 at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, June 28 at 11:00 p.m.
- Water Street Parking Lot (closed for festival campers)
- Reynolds Parking Lot (closed for festival campers)
Saturday, June 27 at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m.
- Water Street East (from Park Street to Ford Street)
Throughout the coming days, residents can expect:
- Increased traffic congestion in the downtown and waterfront areas
- Limited parking availability near event locations
- Delays when travelling through or around closures
The Brockville Railway Tunnel will remain open. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted signage and directions from event staff.
