37 Year-Old Man Involved in Multiple Disturbances Leads to Arrest

Brockville – On July 20, 2026, at approximately 6:00 pm, police received three separate disturbance complaints involving a 37-year-old man.

The incidents escalated throughout the evening, with the final report alleging that the individual had threatened to stab and sexually assault the complainant in the area of Parkedale Avenue and Crocker Cresent.

Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Once arrested a search was conducted and he was found to be in possession of a licence plate issued out of Quebec, that did not belong to him.

During the arrest process, the accused became uncooperative and allegedly spat on an officer while being advised of his rights, resulting in an additional charge of assaulting a peace officer.

Following his arrest, the accused was transported to the Brockville Police Service cellblock. While in custody, the individual caused damage and contamination within his cell by spreading feces on the cell walls after defecating on the floor. As a result, a charge of mischief was laid.

The 37-year-old male was charged with:

  • Assaulting a Peace Officer
  • Uttering Threats x2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Mischief
  • Failure to Comply with a Probation Order x2

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
