Tickets Available for Three of Eastern Ontario’s Most Popular Cultural Attractions: Kingston Pen Tours, Upper Canada Village and Fort Henry

SUMMER TIME-TRAVEL IS NOW ON SALE

Morrisburg –  Beginning today, April 3 at 11 a.m., tickets for the Fort Henry, Upper Canada Village and Kingston Pen Tours 2023 seasons can be booked online.

Located along the scenic shores of the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Ontario, Kingston Pen Tours, Upper Canada Village, and Fort Henry National Historic Site are among the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The historic sites, operated by St. Lawrence Parks Commission, allow guests to step back in time and interact with history through interpretation, demonstration and story-telling.

Kingston Pen Tours offers an in-depth look at life behind the walls of Canada’s oldest maximum-security prison. The guided tours and first-hand accounts from retired corrections staff provide guests with a blend of the historic, cultural and criminological components of this storied institution.

One of the largest living-history museums in Canada, Upper Canada Village invites guests to step back in time to 1866 and experience rural village life. The Village offers an immersive experience with more than 40 historic buildings, traditional trades, farming, music and 19th-century social life.

At Fort Henry in Kingston, experience life in a British Military Garrison with daily military demonstrations, musical performances, and 19th-century interpretation of military life. Iconic special events such as Fort Henry Tattoo will return this season.

The Kingston Pen Tours season begins on April 29 (weekend tours only with 7-day operations beginning May 13). Upper Canada Village opens on May 6, and Fort Henry opens on May 20, 2023.
