Brockville – The 19th Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Run made its annual stop in Brockville last evening.
The 460 km Run to Remember started out at the Ontario Police Memorial in Toronto on Thursday and will finish up today in Ottawa.
The run is to honour officers who have been killed in the line of duty. This year 11 officers will be honoured who have died in the line of duty in the last 12 months from police services across Canada.
The annual Canadian Police And Peace Officer’s Memorial Ceremony takes place on Parliament Hill on Sunday in Ottawa.
Here are some photos from last evening’s ceremony. The video story is still to come.
