OPP Recover Two Stolen High-End Vehicles, Two Arrested and Charged

Merrickville-Wolford – Two stolen vehicles have been recovered and two people have been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

On March 30, 2025, members of the Grenville County OPP Detachment attended a residence on Weedmark Road, in Merrickville-Wolford, for a separate investigation. While at the scene, officers identified two vehicles that were reported as stolen from the Windsor and Toronto areas.

The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the location on the same date, and recovered the two vehicles. One individual was arrested in the area before the warrant.

Mark GREENAWAY, 43 years of age, of North Dundas Township, has been charged with:

• · Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – two counts
• · Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – two counts
• · Possessing an automobile master key

On April 3, 2025, a second person was arrested as a result of the investigation.

Daniel FOWLER, 31 years of age, of North Dundas Township, is charged with:

• · Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 – two counts
• · Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• · Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000

One accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody. The other accused was later released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville.
