Rescue Operation After a Part of Building Under Construction Collapsed on Wednesday in Brockville

Brockville – CTV Ottawa is reporting that Ottawa Fire Services have been called in to assist in a rescue operation in Brockville after a part of a building under construction on Windsor Drive just south of Centennial Road collapsed.

Sources say a man had been trapped, but has now been rescued. Details about any injuries were not immediately available.

Brockville Police posted on their Facebook page two hours ago:

“Brockville Police Service is asking the public to avoid the area of Windsor Drive between Centennial Road and Laurier Blvd.

Emergency services are currently working on an active situation. We appreciate your patience.”
