
Prescott – The Grenville County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a collision that sent two pedestrians to the hospital with minor and serious injuries.
On June 7, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and two pedestrians at the intersection of King Street East and Edward Street in Prescott.
The driver, Randy WARREN, 55 years old, of Prescott, has been charged with:
- · Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm CC. 320.13(2)
- · Drive with a windshield coated, view-obstructed HTA. 73(2)
- · Drive with window coated – view obstructed HTA. 73(2)
The driver is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on June 27, 2025.
The intersection was closed for approximately 3 hours to conduct the investigation, but has since reopened.
