
Brockville – On June 7, 2025, at about 10:00 pm, police received information regarding a lone male passed out at the wheel of a vehicle parked in a lot off of Windsor Drive. Information was provided that he was intoxicated.
Officers arrived and located the vehicle in question. Officers took precautions to prevent the vehicle from moving and attempted to wake the male. Shortly after, the male woke and attempted to put the vehicle in gear.
Eventually, the driver was removed from the vehicle without injury and arrested for impaired operation. The subject was identified to be a 50-year-old male from LaSalle, Quebec.
The driver was taken to the Brockville Police Service for further testing, which confirmed that they were impaired. The subject was later released with a future court date and charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
