Brockville – On October 22, 2025, at approximately 4:00 am, police responded to an alarm activation at the Shoppers Drug Mart located on King Street West.
This location, along with the Parkedale Avenue Shoppers Drug Mart, has been the target of several break-and-enters over the past few years.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that four suspects had gained entry by smashing a window.
The individuals were dressed in dark clothing, wearing hoodies and balaclavas to conceal their identities. Once inside, they proceeded to the cosmetics section, where they broke into a glass cabinet to access high-value fragrances, consistent with previous incidents at this location.
The suspects stole a significant quantity of merchandise and fled the scene in a vehicle within minutes. The estimated value of the stolen items is approximately $15,000. Police are awaiting a final inventory to confirm the total loss.
This investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Brockville Police Service at 613-342-0127 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
