
Prescott – The South Grenville Junior Rangers won a 6-3 decision over the Morrisburg Lions on Friday night in CCHL action at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre.
Scoring for the Rangers were 75 Mason Wight (10 Louis Tumber, 2 Hudson McDonald) in the first period, then Wight (25 Cole Hennessy, 11 Justin Van Luit) would score his second of the game in the second period. 61 Rhett Cleverdon would score another goal for the Junior Rangers, also in the second.
One more goal in the second from 18 Ty Chevrier (10 Louis Tumber, 12 Ethan Wooller).
In the third period, South Grenville would pick up 2 more goals from 25 Cole Hennessy (75 Mason Wight, 61 Rhett Cleverdon) and 43 Evan Cory (2 Hudson McDonald, 11 Justin Van Luit).
The South Grenville Junior Rangers will host the Westport Rideaus this Saturday at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre, starting at 7:30 pm.
