Brockville Police Investigate Report of Threat Involving Students

Brockville – On March 4th, at approximately 12:12 pm members of the Brockville Police Service responded to the McDonalds located at 2454 Parkedale Ave., following a report of a threat to an individual and confrontation to take place at the McDonald’s or Thousand Islands Secondary School.

Police immediately responded and the investigation determined that there was no immediate threat.  It was further learned that the person posing the threat was from outside the local jurisdiction.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.  Classes and regular school activities continued without interruption, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

No arrests or charges were laid in connection with this incident.
