Two Individuals Arrested for Firearms Offences

Leeds County – Two individuals have been charged with several firearms-related offences, as well as other Criminal Code (CC) offences, stemming from an investigation initiated in February 2026.

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit, assisted by members of the Leeds OPP, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, the OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Emergency Response Team, and the OPP Community Street Crime Unit attended a residence with a search warrant.

Officers seized the following items from the residence with approximate quantities:

• Two firearms
• $1,500 in Canadian currency
• Four grams of suspected cocaine
• 1.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine
• Red Devils Motorcycle Club vest as offence-related property
• A 3D printer
• Seven 3D-printed firearm receivers
• A large quantity of illicit cannabis
• Various electronics
• Ammunition

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old female and a 38-year-old male, both from Brockville, were charged with the following CC offences:

• Careless use of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Trafficking firearms, weapons, devices or ammunition

The male was also charged with the following offences:

• Pointing a firearm
• Sexual assault
• Sexual interference
• Assault

The female was also charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Both accused were remanded into custody following a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville.

To protect the identity of the victim, no further information can be released.
