
Leeds County – Three individuals under the age of 18 have been charged with the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
On Monday, February 23, 2026, the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into the matter when the 16-year-old victim reported the distribution of her intimate images.
As a result of the investigation, one 17-year-old male and two 17-year-old females have been charged with the following offences:
- Imports, distributes or possesses for the purpose of distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
The two 17-year-old females have also been charged with Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville at a later date.
