Brockville – The 75th Brockville Music Festival is now on in the City, starting yesterday, Sunday, April 19th and running until Thursday, April 23rd.
The music festival takes place at three locations in the city, the Brockville Arts Centre, Arts Hub Brockville and St. Paul’s Church.
After the festival is the ‘Stars of the Festival’ a highlight of the week’s greatest performances being held on Tuesday, April 28 at the Brockville Arts Centre from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm..
In 1951, the Brockville Lions Club established a Music Festival, giving participants an opportunity to perform for the public and receive a professional adjudication.
The Festival has been operating for 75 years, thereby encouraging higher standards of musical achievement. Participation is offered at all levels for individuals, community groups and schools.
As well, the Brockville Music Festival 2026 will be awarding the first ‘Bruce Alexander Award’, in memory of a much-loved member of our music community.
Whenever you went to a music event in Brockville, Bruce was likely there; he was an outstanding member of the Brockville Concert Band and, Brockville Operatic Society, and was inducted into the Brockville and Area Performing Arts Hall of Fame in 2015. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
The performances this week are free to attend. Tickets for the Stars of the Festival are available at the Brockville Arts Centre Box Office.
