17 Year-Old Youth Arrested as Police Investigate the Suspicious Deaths of Three Individuals!

Brockville – Brockville Police are investigating suspicious deaths of three individuals that occurred on Thursday, May 7th in the city’s north end.
Around 11:30 am on Thursday, police responded to a 911 call reporting the deaths of three individuals at a residence on Cartier Court. Officers arrived promptly and confirmed that three individuals were found deceased inside the residence. Based on evidence at the scene, the deaths were deemed as suspicious in nature.
Police say a 17-year-old, Brockville youth believed to be connected to this incident was located at an address on the outskirts of Brockville, arrested and taken in to custody for three counts of first-degree murder and assaulting a police officer.
The accused and the victims are known to one another, and police have confirmed this was not a random incident.
“This investigation is sensitive and complex. We recognize the profound impact this incident has on the families, loved ones, and the community. We respectfully ask for the public’s patience as investigators continue their work, and we encourage empathy for those most directly impacted,” said the Brockville Police.
Police said the accused will appear for a bail hearing on May 8th, 2026 and will not be named as their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Further information will be provided when it is appropriate and able.
