Gananoque – The Gananoque Fire Department is looking for community support in helping furnish their new fire training grounds.
These donated items will allow firefighters to train in more realistic residential fire scenarios, helping them better prepare to protect the community.
They are currently looking for:
• Couches
• Tables & chairs
• Kitchen cabinets & countertops
• Fridges & stoves
• Bathtubs & vanities
• Beds & side tables
If you have any of these items that you are looking to get rid of, please consider donating them to the fire department.
“Items do not need to be in perfect condition; however, we ask that donations are still suitable for use so we can get as much training time out of them as possible,” said the Gananoque Fire Department. “The Fire Department will arrange pickup. As items are acquired, we will update and remove them from the list.”
